"Could not find resource assembly" error message
I found the cause of the "Could not find resource assembly" error message. Pocket Blogger is timing out to my web host. I am going to switch web hosts and see if that solves the problem.
It gives the error "Could not find resource assembly" as a generic error, but when I debug, I get "Could not connect to remote server".
It looks like my web host for the web services I have was down again this weekend, so I am going to switch to another host.
There have also been some questions about why I need other web services. Well, Pocket PC Compact Framework doesn't allow certian things to be done, the functionality is just not there (as far as cryptography, etc). So I have that wrapped in a web service that I call from PB, and I can do the correct things to interface wtih Blogger.com.
Hopefully early this week things will be back to normal...

Great news - that error was driving me insane as I kne wI had it working fine. Great to hear you are actively working on this kind of thing - a working PocketBlogger software will see me making a donation for sure. Thx.
Pocket Blogger seems to be working great these past couple of days for me - I am assuming you have changed hosts?? Another feature to add above the offline editing would be a button below the link one for Images as a time saver.
Incidentally, the offline editing would be a nice to have but to be honest it is just as easy to work in a pword file and then copy and paste when connected.
I have tried in vain to download and install pocketblogger. I can get it downloaded with no problem- but when I try to install it I get a weird error message saying something about not being able to handle something or other. What's up?
You're not trying to open the executable on your desktop, right? Just copy the contents of the file to a directory on your pocket pc, and either run it from there or create a shortcut in the start menu that points to it.
Correct
It'd be nice to have an hourglass or progress bar while it's trying to query the server for your blog list.
